A medium-sized pebble beach on the northwest side of Sifnos, with wonderful emerald waters. After passing the first steps that are covered with stones (there are also shaped corridors made of sand), clean sand follows. The depth increases gradually, and the waters are wonderful.

On the northernmost side of Sifnos, one of the most protected beaches from the waves in the picturesque fishing village of Herronissos. In the middle of the beach and at the edge of the pier there are fish taverns with tables by the sea. On the right side of the bay there are some small bats which are offered for those who want to be more isolated.

Glyfo

It is the third beach of Faros and is considered by many to be the most beautiful. A small, paved path through the settlement, leads to Glyfo. Like Fasolou and Faros, it overlooks the rock of Chryssopigi, while on the right side you can see the loading facilities of the mines. From the right side of Glyfo beach begins a short paved coastal path that leads to Apokofto beach and Chryssopigi. The beach is characterized by golden fine sand and rich shade from several clusters of tamarisk trees.

Chryssopigi Rocks

A favorite destination for swimming is the rocks of Chryssopigi. The homonymous monastery with the impressive church, which dominates a cape in the sea, has large rocks at the bottom, which in many places form a plateau, ideal for sunbathing and of course countless dives.
